SHL Verify Interactive (G+) practice

Verify Interactive (part of SHL's G+ suite) is SHL's newer, adaptive numerical test. Instead of pure multiple choice, some questions ask you to rank rows, set a value on a slider, drag a bar, or click the right row. The numeracy underneath is the same as classic Verify — reading tables, ranking, totalling, margins — but the interaction is what catches people out.

The free sample is one mixed 4-question data set. Premium unlocks full 10-question interactive runs drawn from the whole interactive pool: ranking, range and bar adjustment, and hotspot selection over single-table economics.

The free sample is one mixed data set. Premium unlocks 110 interactive questions across 40 data sets.

How this simulator compares to the real test

We’d rather tell you exactly what matches than claim a perfect clone. 110 interactive questions across 40 data sets feed this simulator. The free sample is 4 questions; premium full runs draw 10 questions from the full interactive pool.

What matches the real test
Four interaction types — tap-to-order ranking, slider range-entry, draggable bar, and hotspot row selection
One data table feeding linked questions, like a real Verify Interactive set
Calculator allowed; standard data interpretation underneath (ranking, totals, margins)
Instant scoring with the worked solution and the accepted answer band
What’s different
The real test is adaptive (difficulty follows your performance); our blocks are fixed
We cover rank / range / hotspot / bar over tables — not every SHL interaction (e.g. full chart-redraw)
We use tap-to-order, not drag-to-rank — an accessibility choice that works on every device and screen reader

Common questions

What is SHL Verify Interactive?

SHL's newer adaptive numerical test where some questions use interactive formats — dragging answers into rank order, adjusting charts, or entering numeric ranges — instead of pure multiple choice.

How long is Verify Interactive?

Roughly 110 seconds per question. That's more time than classic Verify, but the interactive answer formats consume much of it.

How should I prepare for Verify Interactive?

The numeracy underneath is classic data interpretation — tables, percentage change, ratios. Train that fast and accurately; the interactive wrapper itself is learnable in minutes from SHL's own examples.
